HCLTech has entered a multi-year global agreement with OpenAI to fast-track AI adoption in large enterprises. The partnership aims to move companies beyond experimentation, enabling scalable AI deployments that unlock business value.

Announced on June 30, the collaboration positions HCLTech as one of OpenAI’s first strategic service partners. This partnership combines OpenAI’s cutting-edge generative AI models with HCLTech’s deep implementation and industry expertise—delivering AI-powered solutions that integrate across enterprise systems.

This marks a key shift in enterprise AI maturity. Many organizations have struggled to convert pilot projects into scalable use cases. By offering support from strategy to deployment, HCLTech and OpenAI aim to streamline this transition and make enterprise AI adoption more predictable, secure, and impactful.

HCLTech will leverage its AI Force platform, a GenAI-driven lifecycle accelerator, and a global team of certified prompt engineers to implement use cases in software engineering, customer experience, and back-office operations.

A recent J.P. Morgan CIO survey reported that enterprise AI hardware spending is projected to grow from 6% to 16% of budgets over the next three years, reflecting increasing readiness for large-scale adoption. The HCLTech-OpenAI collaboration arrives at a pivotal time, as enterprises shift focus from exploration to execution.

“By combining HCLTech’s delivery expertise with OpenAI’s powerful models, we’re enabling enterprises to implement AI at scale,” said HCLTech in its official statement.

As organizations pursue operational efficiency, innovation, and competitive edge, the partnership offers a practical path to embed AI deeply within business workflows — unlocking sustainable value at scale.
