TL;DR:

Infosys and Intel expand their partnership to help enterprises move AI from pilot projects to scalable, real-world deployment. The move comes as businesses increasingly seek practical AI systems that drive operational efficiency and measurable outcomes, rather than isolated AI experiments.

Article:

Infosys and Intel have expanded their strategic collaboration to accelerate enterprise artificial intelligence adoption, aiming to help companies move AI initiatives from experimental pilots to full-scale production deployments. The partnership integrates Infosys’ AI platform Topaz Fabric with Intel’s high-performance compute infrastructure, enabling businesses to deploy scalable and secure AI solutions across data centres, cloud environments, and edge systems.

The announcement comes as enterprises worldwide struggle to convert AI experiments into operational systems that deliver measurable business outcomes. By combining Infosys’ enterprise AI services with Intel’s hardware ecosystem — such as Intel Xeon processors, Gaudi AI accelerators, and AI PCs — the companies aim to build “right-sized” AI architectures that balance performance, security, and cost efficiency.

Salil Parekh, CEO of Infosys said this collaboration with Intel reflects Infosys’ commitment to embedding AI deeply and responsibly across enterprise operations. He also added, by bringing together Intel’s compute leadership and the capabilities of Infosys Topaz, it is enabling enterprises to unlock AI value at scale — securely, cost-effectively, and with clear business impact.

The joint solution focuses on mission-critical enterprise use cases including IT operations, developer productivity, and workflow automation across industries. It also enables advanced AI agents that can access enterprise data and coordinate tasks while operating within governance and security frameworks — an essential requirement for regulated sectors such as finance and healthcare.

Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan said, “Together, we are delivering performance–optimized, energy–efficient, and open AI solutions that clients can deploy wherever their workloads reside – from data centers to the cloud to the edge.” he noted to all, this collaboration extends Intel’s AI hardware ecosystem to enterprise customers globally.

The partnership reflects the broader surge in enterprise AI spending. According to industry forecasts by IDC, global AI investment is expected to exceed $500 billion by 2027, driven largely by enterprise automation and generative AI deployments. As organisations seek production-ready AI systems rather than isolated pilots, technology alliances that combine software platforms with optimized hardware are becoming central to scaling enterprise AI adoption.
