336 Google has introduced Gemini Enterprise, a new workplace AI platform aimed at helping companies integrate generative AI tools into daily operations with enterprise-grade security and compliance. The rollout extends Google’s Gemini ecosystem beyond consumers to business users on Workspace and Google Cloud. Gemini Enterprise provides organisations with access to advanced AI assistants that can summarise meetings, draft documents, analyse spreadsheets, and assist in coding tasks — all while maintaining strict data protection standards. Unlike the consumer version, the enterprise suite includes administrative controls, custom model tuning, and integration with company-specific datasets. Google Cloud CEO Thomas Kurian said the launch represents a “step change in how organisations use AI responsibly and at scale.” He added that Gemini Enterprise is designed to “help teams move from experimentation to execution.” The product is priced at $30 per user per month, aligning with Microsoft’s Copilot for 365. It also features data-loss prevention, encryption by default, and AI transparency dashboards to ensure accountability. Initial adopters include firms in banking, media, and manufacturing, which are deploying Gemini to automate reporting, improve knowledge management, and drive creative workflows. Industry observers note that with Gemini Enterprise, Google has entered the next phase of enterprise AI competition — emphasising trust, usability, and measurable ROI as core differentiators.
