Geico launches a massive 60-ad campaign tailored to products and regions—reframing what scale looks like in insurance marketing.

Geico is rewriting the rules of insurance advertising with its most expansive creative effort to date: 60 video ads, 54 social posts, and 50 audio spots—each crafted to match the nuances of different regions and product categories.

Dubbed the “Smart” campaign, the initiative features seven product lines including auto, renters, RV, boat, and umbrella insurance. Instead of a single hero spot, Geico is going hyper-granular: delivering separate narratives and formats depending on geography and coverage type. The aim? Make an emotionally neutral category feel relevant and localized.

“We know that insurance isn’t one-size-fits-all,” said Damon Burrell, CMO at Geico. “This campaign reflects that reality with creative that’s grounded in what matters to different people in different places.”

The campaign is a strategic bet on precision storytelling at scale, with Geico leaning on performance insights from its in-house media team to optimize delivery across streaming platforms, YouTube, TikTok, and connected TV. Every asset ends with the consistent tagline: “It’s Not Just Smart. It’s Geico Smart.”

Geico, a legacy heavyweight in insurance advertising, is moving beyond its signature humor toward more adaptive, audience-aware messaging. It’s also signaling to the broader category that volume isn’t the enemy of creativity—if the segmentation is smart enough.

The effort comes at a time when personalization and performance are converging in mature industries. In a vertical often seen as commoditized, Geico is using content architecture itself as a differentiator.
