The voice search feature allows users to ask spoken questions in supported Indian languages, enabling more intuitive interactions with Meta AI. Meanwhile, the AI translation capability provides real-time voice-to-text translations, allowing users to communicate across languages within the app. Meta is also testing reels generation using Meta AI, marking a deeper integration of generative AI into its content creation workflows. The company emphasised that these features reflect Meta’s long-term investment in building regionally relevant AI tools. India is the first country where Meta is rolling out these voice AI features.
