Kohl’s has announced a $5 million commitment over three years to the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, renewing its support for the national nonprofit partner and bolstering funding for the Kohl’s Healthy at Home initiative. Launched in 2019, the program prioritizes health equity and collaborates with schools and community partners to offer physical and mental well-being resources aimed at assisting families nationwide in living healthier lives.

Christie Raymond, Kohl’s Chief Marketing Officer, emphasized the company’s dedication to fostering healthier communities and supporting family wellness through philanthropic efforts. She highlighted the partnership with the Alliance for a Healthier Generation as instrumental in bridging the gap between educators and families, providing essential educational tips and resources for youth to establish healthy lifestyles from an early age.

Since the inception of the partnership, Kohl’s has contributed over $12 million in funding to Healthier Generation. This funding has facilitated the expansion and scaling of the Kohl’s Healthy at Home program, offering a multimedia hub of proven tips, activities, and resources in English and Spanish for parents and caregivers to help youth manage their physical and mental well-being. Additionally, resources have been provided to aid students in improving their mental health by recognizing and managing stress, social pressures, and emotions.
