Farmers Insurance Appoints John Griek as Chief Financial Officer

Farmers Insurance has announced the appointment of John Griek as Chief Financial Officer for Farmers Group. In this capacity, Griek will be responsible for overseeing all financial matters within the organization and will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Raul Vargas.

Griek brings with him a wealth of experience from his 20-year tenure at Allstate, where he held various leadership positions of increasing responsibility. In his most recent role as Vice President, P&C Finance Operations, he played a crucial role in shaping long-term financial plans, setting short-term operating goals, and implementing advanced analytics. His contributions to the P&C leadership team were instrumental in driving profitable growth across different brands, channels, and states.

Raul Vargas, President & Chief Executive Officer of FGI, expressed confidence in Griek’s appointment, highlighting his extensive expertise in finance, deep understanding of the insurance industry, and track record of leading multi-year operational strategies.
