UC Students Gain Real-World Experience Through Pioneering Partnership with Western & Southern

The University of Cincinnati (UC) is launching a unique partnership with Western & Southern Financial Group. This collaboration creates the first-of-its-kind Western & Southern Career Development Center on UC’s campus, opening this fall.

The program offers UC students a chance to gain professional experience while still enrolled. Students will work directly with clients of Gerber Life Insurance, a Western & Southern company, and have a clear path toward full-time employment at Western & Southern after graduation.

Western & Southern will cover the cost of students obtaining a Life and Health Insurance license and provide access to their professional development resources and tuition reimbursement programs. This partnership reflects UC’s commitment to preparing students for the workforce by providing practical skills and industry knowledge.
