Parker Hannifin’s Instrumentation Products Division Europe (IPDE) has achieved accreditation in hydrogen and carbon capture technologies. The company completed the Fit For Hydrogen (F4H2) and Fit For Carbon Capture, Usage and Storage program, earning a granted status. These programs, overseen by the Nuclear AMRC, part of the UK’s High Value Manufacturing Catapult, are based on the established Fit For Nuclear (F4N) model for supplier development.

IPDE was chosen from over 90 companies and joined the program alongside 29 others, in collaboration with Zero Carbon Humber. The collective aim is to decarbonize the UK’s most carbon-intensive region and transition the Humber into the world’s first net-zero industrial zone by 2040.

The assessment process involved various business excellence criteria and sector-specific evaluations, including company systems, product development, and industry knowledge. Parker IPDE successfully met all requirements, earning the granted status.
