The National Financial Inclusion Strategy-Administrative Unit (NFIS-AU) of Bangladesh Bank, in collaboration with Consumer Centrix (CCX), unveiled the ‘Women’s Financial Inclusion Data (WFID) Dashboard’ at a city hotel on Wednesday.

The dashboard, a collaborative effort between NFIS-AU and CCX, aggregates data from Banks, Finance Companies, Microfinance Entities, and Mobile Financial Services Providers. It aims to provide a comprehensive overview of women’s financial inclusion in Bangladesh, offering valuable insights into the status of financial services accessibility for women.

According to a press release, stakeholders from various sectors participated in the launch event, including representatives from ministries, regulatory bodies of the financial sector, banks, finance companies, microfinance institutions, mobile financial service providers, insurance companies, and quasi-regulatory financial service providers.

Dr. Md Habibur Rahman, Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank, graced the event as the chief guest, highlighting the importance of initiatives promoting women’s financial inclusion.

Participants expressed optimism about the dashboard’s potential to offer real-time insights into the state of women’s financial inclusion in Bangladesh. They believe the dashboard will serve as a valuable tool for decision-making processes aimed at promoting women’s financial inclusion in the country.
