66 CBRE Group has announced a strategic restructuring in its leadership, with Chief Operating Officer Vikram Kohli taking direct oversight of the company’s two primary real estate services segments – Advisory Services and Global Workplace Solutions (GWS). Under this reorganization, senior executives responsible for leading these segments will report directly to Mr. Kohli. Together, they will collaborate to enhance alignment, both in terms of client engagement and operational efficiency. While Advisory and GWS will remain distinct segments, this move aims to foster closer integration to deliver more seamless and comprehensive client solutions. Vikram Kohli, who brings extensive experience from various leadership roles within CBRE since joining in 2001, is praised for his strategic acumen and digital expertise by CBRE’s Chair and CEO, Bob Sulentic. Sulentic expects Kohli’s leadership to streamline operations, enhance connectivity, and elevate client service across both segments. To further optimize leadership focus, Jack Durburg, former CEO of Advisory Services, will now oversee the U.S. and Canada Advisory business exclusively, while Chris Kirk, former COO of Advisory, will lead the international Advisory business, both reporting to Mr. Kohli. Additionally, Chandra Dhandapani, former CEO of GWS, will transition her responsibilities and depart CBRE on September 8, 2024. Following her departure, leaders of the GWS Enterprise and GWS Local businesses will report directly to Mr. Kohli. Bob Sulentic expressed gratitude for Dhandapani’s significant contributions during her tenure, particularly in elevating CBRE’s Digital & Technology team and enhancing client service capabilities within GWS. He wished her continued success in her future endeavors.
