The 11th African Islamic Finance Summit, held in Hargeisa, Somaliland, was organized by the AlHuda Centre of Islamic Banking and Economics (CIBE), in collaboration with the Central Bank of Somaliland and the National Insurance Authority (NIA). This event made possible through the support of sponsors like Amanah Insurance and the International Turnkey System (ITS), aimed to foster dialogue and explore opportunities for Islamic finance in Africa.

Distinguished speakers, including industry experts and practitioners, led discussions on key topics such as Islamic Banking, Fintech, Regulations, and Investment Opportunities. Participants engaged in insightful dialogues, driving towards the advancement of Islamic finance across the continent. Mr. Muhammad Zubair, CEO of Alhuda CIBE, expressed gratitude to all contributors for their role in the Summit’s success. Highlighting Somaliland’s potential as an Islamic finance hub, he emphasized its conducive environment for economic growth.

President Muse Bihi Abdi, the Chief Guest, welcomed international experts and participants, commending their efforts to promote economic development. He praised the Summit’s significance in showcasing Somaliland’s global presence and expressed appreciation for Alhuda CIBE’s initiative.
