56 Kyndryl, the world’s largest IT infrastructure services provider, and Honda Motor Europe have announced a multiyear renewal agreement for managed infrastructure services. Under this agreement, Kyndryl will continue managing Honda’s centralized IT infrastructure while modernizing its mainframe estate using Kyndryl Bridge, an open integration platform, and AIOps. As a subsidiary of Honda Motor, Honda Motor Europe oversees the sales, marketing, and distribution of Honda products in Europe, including automobiles, motorcycles, power equipment, parts, accessories, and marine engines. The renewed partnership aims to drive agility, standardize processes, and future-proof Honda’s IT systems for a more digital and data-driven environment. Through this expanded collaboration, Kyndryl will transition critical applications to its newly upgraded z16 mainframe and infrastructure environment. This move will enable Honda Motor Europe to modernize operations, optimize costs, and leverage the latest platforms and technologies for enhanced security, reliability, scalability, and performance.
