Lennar, one of the nation’s leading homebuilders, partnered with HopeKids, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families with children facing life-threatening medical conditions, to host a special event at KidZania USA. The event brought together 400 families today at KidZania’s interactive city, providing children aged 4 to 14 with a unique opportunity to engage in realistic job training and activities.

Greg Mayberry, President of Lennar’s Dallas Division, highlighted Lennar’s commitment to community and philanthropy. “Fostering community through our shared commitment of giving back is embedded in Lennar’s culture,” Mayberry stated. “Supporting HopeKids, which has created a powerful community for families, is a natural fit, and we are honored to be part of this special day.”

HopeKids aims to provide hope and support to families facing difficult medical challenges, offering a calendar of events that provide a supportive and recreational environment for connection and encouragement. All HopeKids events are free for families, allowing them to create lasting memories together.

“Mandy Mueller, Executive Director of HopeKids North Texas, expressed gratitude for Lennar’s support. “Lennar’s commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of families facing serious medical challenges has been truly remarkable,” Mueller said. “Thanks to Lennar’s generous support and collaboration, we are able to create a memorable experience filled with joy and hope for the children and families we serve.”

Lennar and HopeKids have partnered on multiple events throughout various communities, allowing children to experience moments of joy and imagination amidst challenging circumstances. Lennar associates also volunteer their time and skills to support HopeKids activities.

These events are part of Lennar’s broader commitment to community engagement through its Focused Acts of Caring initiatives. Each Lennar division across the country selects a local charity to support with volunteered time and grants from the Lennar Foundation.
