Dell Technologies is ramping up its data protection offerings to help clients combat escalating cyber threats. This expansion includes appliances, software, and as-a-Service options aimed at enhancing protection across various environments.

The move follows concerns raised in the 2024 Dell Global Data Protection Index survey, where 75% of organizations doubted their current data protection measures against ransomware, and nearly 70% lacked confidence in their recovery abilities.

Rich Jackson, from the State of Michigan, praised the reliability of Dell PowerProtect Data Domain appliances, expecting enhanced protection performance.

Furthermore, Dell PowerProtect Data Domain systems play a key role in a broader partner ecosystem, supporting data protection software vendors while bolstering resilience for customers. This collaborative approach underscores Dell’s commitment to effective cybersecurity solutions.
