Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa has identified the eight passengers he intends to travel with him on his around-the-moon voyage, which he first announced 4 years ago on SpaceX’s Starship spaceship.

The mission aims to send artists on the level of Pablo Picasso or Michael Jackson into outer space. More than a million people applied for the chance to be part of this mission.

The crew includes Steve Aoki, TOP (Choi Seung Hyun), Yemi A.D., Rhiannon Adam, Tim Dodd, Karim Iliya, Brendan Hall, and Dev D. Joshi.

SpaceX has not yet tested its Super Heavy rocket booster but is expected to be done soon. The company is still waiting on a launch license from federal regulators. A few early prototypes have conducted brief “hop tests,” some of which have flown a few miles above Earth.
