72 The Texas Rangers and Energy Transfer have announced an extension of their collaboration, unveiling a multi-year agreement where Energy Transfer will serve as the official jersey patch partner of the Rangers. This landmark announcement was made during an on-field press conference at Globe Life Field, marking the first time the Rangers will feature a jersey patch partner. Texas joins 18 other Major League teams with similar jersey sponsorships in 2024. Energy Transfer, a prominent energy infrastructure company headquartered in Dallas, has been associated with the Rangers since May 2018. The company made a significant commitment to support the Texas Rangers MLB Youth Academy at Mercy Street Sports Complex presented by Toyota in West Dallas. The Youth Academy, operational since December 2017, has seen participation from over 100,000 athletes, with more than 115 youth committing to college baseball and softball programs. Rangers Chief Revenue Officer Jim Cochrane highlighted the strong relationship with Energy Transfer, citing the company’s philanthropic efforts and significant contributions to the Rangers Foundation and Youth Academy. The jersey patch, featuring “ENERGY TRANSER” and the company logo, will adorn the right sleeve of all six Rangers jerseys. On home jerseys (white, powder blue, City Connect, and special gold-trimmed edition), the patch will be in Rangers blue (PMS 288), while on road jerseys (gray and blue), it will be in white. The Energy Transfer jersey patch will make its debut on Thursday during the season opener against the Chicago Cubs at Globe Life Field, adorning the special gold-trimmed jerseys.
