Frasers Group (formerly Sports Direct) has acquired shares in premium fashion brands of JD Sports for £47.5 million ($57.7 million) using existing cash resources.

The acquisition includes shares in brands such as Pretty Green, Cricket, and Topgrade Sportswear, and the deal for eight of the businesses and all debt owed by the divested brands to JD Sports has closed immediately, with completion for the remaining businesses expected early next year.

Frasers has recently increased its stake in Hugo Boss and acquired a 5% stake in ASOS.
