By 2025, Apple is anticipated to dramatically boost its local production capability, increasing the volume of iPhones manufactured in India. According to reports, Apple has instructed its local manufacturers, Foxconn, Pegatron, and Wistron, to increase production. T his approach could result in local iPhone production increasing to 12-15 million units during the next two years.

Faisal Kawoosa, co-founder of research firm TechArc, Apple’s domestic manufacturing accounts for 72% to 7.7% of the company’s overall income in India, with 7.1 million iPhone sales in India expected by 2022.
