The Biden Administration has unveiled a groundbreaking $110 million AI partnership between Japan and the United States, aimed at fostering research and education initiatives. One notable aspect of this collaboration is the funding of research projects facilitated by a joint effort between the University of Washington and the University of Tsukuba.

NVIDIA has committed $25 million to this initiative in collaboration with Amazon, with the goal of integrating cutting-edge technologies into the educational programs at the University of Washington in Seattle and the University of Tsukuba in Japan.

Universities worldwide are recognizing the importance of equipping students with essential AI skills, facilitated by access to high-performance computing capabilities typically found in supercomputers.
