Tesla has unveiled the new Model 3 Performance, a significant upgrade six years after the first Model 3 Performance hit the roads. This latest iteration leverages Tesla’s advanced manufacturing and engineering capabilities to offer a high-performance daily driver that excels in both power and efficiency.

The new Model 3 Performance benefits from the latest advancements in Noise, Vibration, and Harshness (NVH) reduction and overall comfort improvements. It features a bespoke chassis with hardware designed to enhance performance and stiffness while reducing mass. Key components include adaptive dampers with hollow damper piston rods, a multi-sectioned stabilizer bar, ultra-high strength steel springs, and stiffer suspension top mounts. These enhancements create a more capable, performance-oriented chassis that optimizes the vehicle’s new technological features.

The new Model 3 Performance is equipped with Tesla’s latest generation performance drive unit, the Performance 4DU. This unit significantly boosts the vehicle’s capabilities, offering up to +22% continuous power, +32% peak power, and +16% peak torque delivery. Drivers will experience more immediate and sustained acceleration, particularly noticeable when accelerating out of corners. Despite these performance upgrades, the new Model 3 Performance achieves about a 2% reduction in energy consumption compared to its predecessor, maintaining Tesla’s commitment to efficiency.

This new Model 3 Performance stands as a testament to Tesla’s dedication to combining high performance with cutting-edge technology and energy efficiency, making it an ideal choice for those seeking a powerful yet sustainable daily driver.
