DuPont Honored with ACC’s Sustainability Leadership Award

DuPont has been awarded the American Chemistry Council (ACC) 2024 Sustainability Leadership Award, acknowledging its significant contributions to advancing sustainability.

The company was recognized in the “Social Responsibility and Community Engagement” category for its Clear into the Future® (CITF) grant program. This employee-driven initiative aims to create positive environmental impacts within DuPont communities by supporting projects in climate change adaptation and mitigation, water stewardship, circular economy, and biodiversity protection. In 2023, the CITF program funded 19 nonprofit projects across seven countries in four regions. This effort aligns with DuPont’s goal to build thriving communities by 2030.

Daryl Roberts, Chief Operations and Engineering Officer at DuPont, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, “This prestigious award underscores the dedication and passion of our employees who selflessly volunteer their time to be leaders in their communities and embody our core value of protecting the planet and our purpose of empowering people everywhere to thrive in a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world.”

An external panel of sustainability leaders from academia, industry, nonprofit, and media sectors judged the entries, evaluating them based on innovation, impact, and alignment with ACC’s Sustainability Principles and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
