Sony and Honda have unveiled a new electric vehicle (EV) at CES 2023 that will use Qualcomm’s charging technology. The companies say the new EV, called the AFEELA, will feature advanced connectivity and entertainment features powered by Sony’s technology.

The AFEELA will be equipped with Qualcomm’s Quick Charge technology, which allows for fast and efficient charging of the vehicle’s batteries. Sony and Honda have not yet revealed when the AFEELA will be available for purchase or how much it will cost.

This is not the first time Sony and Honda have partnered on an automotive project. In 2018, the two companies announced a joint venture to develop sensors and other technology for self-driving cars. It seems the AFEELA marks the next step in this partnership as the companies move towards producing a fully-fledged electric vehicle.

The AFEELA is just the latest addition to the growing market of electric vehicles. As concern about climate change and reliance on fossil fuels continues to rise, more and more automakers are turning to electric power as a cleaner, more sustainable alternative.
