Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) has taken another stride in enhancing its digital banking services by introducing a range of new features on its mobile app. This move underscores the bank’s commitment to providing a seamless and innovative banking experience for its customers, solidifying its position as a leader in the digital banking space.

With the latest updates, customers can now access a host of credit card-related services directly through the QIB mobile app. Notably, QIB has extended the digital credit card feature to encompass its full suite of credit cards, granting customers instant access to crucial credit card information such as the 16-digit card number, expiry date, and CVV number. This empowerment enables users to add their cards to their mobile wallets for in-store purchases and conduct e-commerce transactions without needing their physical cards.

Furthermore, QIB has introduced the permanent limit increase feature, allowing eligible customers to efficiently and immediately raise their credit card limits via the mobile app. This enhancement grants users greater financial flexibility and convenience, all within their fingertips.

Another highlight of the new features is the card upgrade functionality. Eligible customers can now effortlessly upgrade their existing credit cards through the app, instantly accessing enhanced benefits tailored to their evolving needs. The new card will be delivered to customers’ doorsteps within a few working days, ensuring a seamless transition.

In its commitment to streamline customer services within a single app, QIB has integrated the ‘My-Book Buy 1 Get 1 Offers’ into the QIB mobile app. This feature, which previously existed as a standalone application, now provides customers with over 2,000 “buy one get one free” vouchers for a range of establishments, including restaurants, cafes, hotels, and theme parks. This integration not only simplifies the banking experience but also offers customers a comprehensive suite of services in one place.

He highlighted how QIB’s digital innovations are reshaping the way customers engage with the mobile app, granting them more control over their financial needs while ensuring security.

As digital channels become increasingly vital, QIB’s initiative reflects its commitment to expanding service offerings to cater to a broader segment and continually meet customers’ evolving needs.

The QIB mobile app is available for download on App Store, Google Play, and Huawei AppGallery. Customers can conveniently self-register using their active ATM/Debit Card number and PIN, ushering in a new era of intuitive and personalized banking experiences.
