Sanjay Gurjar, the newly appointed Co-Head of Client Coverage – Corporate, Commercial, and Institutional Banking (CCIB) for India and South Asia at Standard Chartered Bank, has had a significant career trajectory marked by notable achievements.
He has primarily focused his career in India and has been instrumental in driving transformational performance within the Financial Institutions (FI) business in India & South Asia. Additionally, he played a key role in enhancing Transaction Banking for India & Nepal.
During his tenure in Singapore over the past two and a half years, Gurjar led strategic initiatives that resulted in a significant shift and robust growth in the ASEAN BBD business. He also played a pivotal role in building a formidable Financial Institutions (FI) team.
