Indian IT services firm Wipro reported a bigger-than-expected profit for the third quarter, boosted by a strong deal pipeline.

The Bengaluru-based company’s net profit rose 2.8% to 30.53 billion rupees ($375.27 million) for the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2022. Analysts, on average, had expected a profit of 29 billion rupees.

Wipro forecast revenue growth from the IT services business for the year ending March 2023 in the range of 11.5% to 12.0%, in constant currency terms.
