Elon Musk sold 22 million shares of Tesla this week for $3.58 billion. The most recent transaction, Musk’s second since his $44 billion acquisition of Twitter in October, raises the total amount of Tesla shares the entrepreneur has sold over the previous year to close to $40 billion.

According to the filing, Musk, who just lost the title of the richest man in the world, sold shares over the course of three days between Monday and Wednesday. He currently owns 13.4% of Tesla after the latest sale.
