Univar Solutions and Italmatch Team Up to Deliver Sustainable Water Solutions in North America

In a strategic move to address the rising global demand for safe, effective, and eco-friendly water solutions, Univar Solutions has announced its exclusive partnership with Italmatch Chemicals to distribute Dequest PB carboxymethyl inulin (CMI) technology in North America. This sustainable antiscalant is aimed at natural home, industrial, and institutional (HI&I) cleaning applications.

CMI, derived from chicory plant roots, is a biodegradable biopolymer that serves as an eco-friendly alternative to phosphonates. It offers high-performance solutions in water management and cleaning, essential for industries involved in processes where water is crucial, such as HI&I, detergents, and cleaners.

Univar Solutions, known for its high-performance and eco-friendly water management solutions, collaborates with supplier partners like Italmatch to introduce sustainable and natural cleaning ingredients. The company’s Solution Centers, including its flagship center in Houston, Texas, are hubs of innovation, helping customers develop high-performing, environmentally friendly cleaning formulations.
