92 The Leidos Partnership for Defense Health (LPDH) has successfully deployed the Federal Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, marking a significant milestone in healthcare technology. Led by Liz Porter, President of Leidos Health & Civil Sector, the LPDH collaborated with DOD, VA, the Federal Electronic Health Record Modernization (FEHRM) office, and Oracle Health to deploy the system at Lovell FHCC in North Chicago, Illinois. This site serves both DOD and VA patient populations, including Service members, Veterans, and beneficiaries, providing care to approximately 75,000 patients annually. The deployment added nearly 1,200 DOD and 2,000 VA clinicians and providers, streamlining care for beneficiaries and eliminating the need to toggle between systems. With this deployment, the Federal EHR is now operational at over 3,890 locations worldwide, benefiting more than 9.5 million beneficiaries. Bill Tinston, FEHRM Director, emphasized the collaborative effort and the significance of having patient records accessible within a single, common federal EHR. This achievement underscores the commitment to enhancing healthcare delivery for military personnel, Veterans, and beneficiaries through advanced technology and seamless integration.
