Genuine Parts Company, a global leader in distributing automotive and industrial replacement parts, has announced the appointment of James F. Howe as President of Motion, the company’s industrial business. With nearly thirty years of dedicated service to the company, Howe brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.

Previously serving as the Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial and Technology Officer, Howe played a pivotal role in shaping Motion’s corporate trajectory. His leadership in overseeing eCommerce, strategic pricing, sales excellence, corporate accounts, and human resources has been instrumental in driving the company’s success.

In his new position, Howe will continue reporting to Randy Breaux, Group President, GPC North America.

Chairman and CEO Paul Donahue commented, “James has an impressive history, having served in numerous executive roles during his long career at Motion.
