At Milan Fashion Week, designer Marco Rambaldi redefines luxury by featuring the Envy™ apple as a symbol of natural elegance.
In an unexpected fusion of haute couture and nature, Milan Fashion Week witnessed the Envy™ apple take center stage in Marco Rambaldi’s latest collection. On February 26th, the renowned designer showcased his innovative approach by integrating this premium fruit, cultivated in Italy’s South Tyrol region, into his runway presentation.
Model and songwriter Giulia Petronio graced the catwalk carrying the bespoke “Envy™ My Bag,” a handcrafted accessory designed by Istituto Marangoni student Mahra Mustafa. This unique piece, featuring deep red braided leather and a delicate Envy™ pendant, seamlessly complemented Rambaldi’s collection, highlighting the apple’s embodiment of natural luxury.
The event’s ambiance was further enhanced by its setting in the open-air Mercato Floricolo, where attendees indulged in curated culinary delights showcasing the Envy™ apple’s distinctive flavor profile. Prominent Italian influencers, including singer Sarah Toscano and stylist Simone Furlan, shared their experiences across social media platforms, amplifying the fruit’s status as a symbol of refined taste.
This collaboration stemmed from a design competition overseen by Rambaldi and Vogue Italia, challenging over 60 students to create the ultimate “Envy™ My Bag.” Mustafa’s winning design stands as a testament to the successful blend of fashion and nature, positioning the Envy™ apple as an unexpected yet fitting icon of luxury.
