83 Shuaa Capital, a leading asset management and investment banking platform in the region, has launched the Shuaa Saudi Equity Fund, a new Sharia-compliant fund aimed at capitalizing on the vast potential of Saudi and GCC equities. Under the umbrella of the Incorporated Cell Company (ICC) and domiciled in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), the fund will be managed by Shuaa GMC Limited, a wholly-owned regulated subsidiary of Shuaa Capital. The Shuaa Saudi Equity Fund provides regional and global institutional investors, as well as High Net Worth individuals, with a strategic gateway to access the fast-growing Saudi public market. Primarily focusing on Sharia-compliant equities in Saudi Arabia, with a smaller allocation to other GCC member states, the actively managed fund will invest across a diverse range of industries. Its portfolio will encompass a combination of value and growth stocks from established and emerging business models. The fund’s investment objective is to achieve long-term and risk-adjusted capital appreciation. Additionally, it offers an option to receive periodic dividends through a separate dividend share class. Interested investors can subscribe to the Qualified Investor Fund via the Allfunds bank, a prominent investment distribution platform, or through direct subscriptions. Shuaa established the ICC fund structure in ADGM in 2020 to introduce distinct fund strategies under the ICC platform, encompassing asset classes such as equities, sukuk, and multi-asset strategies across robust and resilient economies. With the introduction of the Shuaa Saudi Equity Fund, the ICC platform now boasts six diversified funds, including the Shuaa Global Sukuk Fund, Shuaa Global Equity Fund, Shuaa North America Equity Fund, Nujoom Aggressive Fund, and Nujoom Balanced Funds. The total assets under management (AuM) for the ICC platform have surpassed $350 million. Ajit Joshi, MD, and Head of Public & Private Markets at Shuaa Capital, commented, “The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) nations have emerged as powerful forces in the global economy, driven by their dedication to diversification and enterprising development strategies. With increasing investor interest in Sharia-compliant investments, Shuaa’s specially designed managed funds within the ICC framework effectively cater to these demands while seizing market-specific opportunities. The Saudi Equity Fund offers timely avenues for investors to capitalize on the region’s growth potential and diversify their portfolios.” You Might Be Interested In aiBANK Introduces aiPremier Elite: An Exclusive Segment Tailored for High-Net-Worth Clients Islamic Development Bank Expands Collaboration with IMF to Enhance Financial Stability Drivers of innovation in financial services Moody’s: Islamic Banking Underdeveloped in Africa Challenges and Opportunities Facing GCC’s Takaful Industry: Mergers, Technology, and Economic Rebound Islamic Finance Redefined: The Significance for Hong Kong’s Fintech Ecosystem Development
