Greg Schulze, President of Travel Partners and Media at Expedia Group, underscored the company’s focus on deepening relationships with established global travel brands while also supporting startups and entrepreneurs to scale their growth. Expanding its presence in the Asia Pacific region, Expedia Group has formed strategic partnerships with key organizations to enhance travelers’ experiences and promote sustainable tourism. Tourism and Events Queensland, Tourism Tropical North Queensland, Tourism Northern Territory, and Brisbane Economic Development Agency have joined forces with Expedia Group Media Solutions to showcase Australia’s unique culture, landmarks, and history. Through advertising solutions such as native ads, PassportAds, and YouTube videos, these partnerships aim to capture more interest and elevate the region’s market share.

In Japan, Expedia Group’s Rapid API solution has enabled Ikyu, an online booking service specializing in luxury hotels and restaurants, to access a broader range of lodging options. By integrating Rapid API, Ikyu can offer guests access to over 20,000 additional properties worldwide on its newly revamped international site, enhancing the luxury travel experience for its customers.

Expanding its partnership network further, Top Town Travel in China, an established travel agency catering to inbound and outbound travelers, will leverage Expedia Group’s quality hotel supply via Rapid API. This collaboration will enable Top Town Travel to offer a wide range of hotel room types to travelers, enhancing their booking experience and expanding their travel options.
