113 Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank (ADIB) has appointed Mohamed Abdelbary as the acting Group CEO following the resignation of Nasser Al Awadhi from the position due to personal reasons. The decision was made by the Board of Directors on March 5th, 2024.Abdelbary, who joined ADIB in May 2020 as the group CFO, brings extensive experience to his new role, having previously held various positions at Standard Chartered Bank Middle East, including regional CFO in Africa and the Middle East, Head of Business Finance in the UAE and the Middle East, and Head of the Finance Department.
